The Waldenses: The Church in the Wilderness

The faithful Waldenses in their mountain retreats were married in a spiritual sense to God, who promised, "I will betroth thee unto me in faithfulness and thou shalt know the Lord." (Hosea 2:20)

The world would see that no invention of Satan—not even death—could separate the Waldenses from their God. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" (Romans 8:35) Follow the history of these people as they are compared to the dedicated eagle parents.
