The Questions on Doctrine Sextet

From its very inception, Satan has hurled his untiring, nefarious energy with unwearied persistence against God’s church. His subterfuge, deception, and intrigue have found no lack of church leaders eager to serve his bidding. His most successful strategy was the foisting, in October 1957, of the book Seventh-day Adventists Answer Questions on Doctrine (QOD) upon God’s precious church. As a result, the omega of apostasy has been strongly advanced.

At Andrews University, October 24-27, 2007, the authors, Colin and Russell Standish, were invited to present papers to the QOD 50th Anniversary Conference, held to examine and discuss the history and theology related to this book.

Volume 1: A History of Questions on Doctrine: Fidelity or Compromise?— This volume is a reader-friendly version of the paper presented by Russell at the Conference.

Volume 2: The Theology of Questions on Doctrine: Fidelity or Compromise? (144 pages)—In this volume is a reader-friendly version of the paper that Colin presented at the Conference.

Volume 3: The 2007 Questions on Doctrine Conference: Kindness, Mysteries, Revelations, and Deception (352 pages)—In this volume the authors document kind acts shown to them during the Conference as well as previously little-known details of deception and machinations related to the publication of QOD.

Volume 4: The 2007 Questions on Doctrine Conference: Issues, Silence, Opposition, and Reports (384 pages)—This volume addresses some of the primary theological issues involved in the QOD controversy. The authors also review efforts by influential leaders to bring about a return to truth; past conferences where theological discussions took place among thought leaders in church employment and various self-supporting ministries; and General Conference opposition to the QOD 50th Anniversary Conference.

Volumes 5: The 2007 Questions on Doctrine Conference: Papers Presented— History and Evangelicalism (304 pages)—In this volume the authors examine the first half of the presentations made at the QOD Conference.

Volume 6: The 2007 Questions on Doctrine Conference: Papers Presented— Theology and Communion (400 pages)—The last half of the presentations made at the 2007 QOD 50th Anniversary Conference are examined, and the authors share their concluding thoughts.
